Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

🧩 npui cli

npui is a command-line interface (CLI) tool designed for easy integration of reusable UI components into your projects. Built with simplicity and flexibility in mind, npui allows developers to quickly add, update, remove, and list components from the NextProduction repository directly in their own projects.

Installation

You can install npui globally or use it directly with npx without installation.

Using npx

To use npui directly, run the following command:

npx npui <command> <ComponentName>

Installing Globally

If you prefer to install npui globally, you can run:

npm install -g npui

Usage

Here's a breakdown of available commands:

add <ComponentName>

Download a specified component to your project.

npx npui add Table

update <ComponentName>

Update an existing component to the latest version.

npx npui update Table

remove <ComponentName>

Remove a specified component from your project.

npx npui remove Table

list

List all components downloaded to your project.

npx npui list

version

Display the current version of npui.

npx npui version

help

Show usage instructions for npui.

Example

Here's a complete example of how to use npui:
