npm-time-machine
Found an old project with a bit too loose version ranges that suddenly doesn't work anymore? Run it through npm-time-machine with a specific date and find the versions that you would've used back then.
Installation
$ npm install -g npm-time-machine
Usage
Run ntm
in the same folder as the package.json
you want to
find the versions for, with a specific date:
# Pass the date as the first argument (YYYY-MM-DD):
$ ntm 2014-05-05
Example
Before:
{
"name": "example",
"dependencies": {
"mocha": "*",
"express": "*"
}
}
After ntm 2014-01-01
:
{
"name": "example",
"dependencies": {
"mocha": "1.16.2",
"express": "3.4.7"
}
}
