Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Redux JWT

Easy to use JWT authentication management library for Redux.

Installation

Configure auth reducer in your main reducer:

npm install nozzmo-redux-jwt --save

Use

Configure auth reducer in your main reducer:

API login function

In order to configure the login action creator you must pass your API login function as the unique parameter for authActions.login. Your API login function should return a promise resolving into a token, for example:

Added state shape

After configured, your state shape will be incremented by the following object:

The decoded part and error.extra will depend on your backend response. decoded will contain the decoded token returned from your login api endpoint. error.extra will contain the body of the response returned from your login api endpoint if the login was unsuccessful. To actually handling the error response like this, you should nourish your api login function thrown error with a promise attribute:

If you decide not adding the promise attribute, error.extra will hold the full returned error reference.
