Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

USE AT YOUR OWN RISK

A Node-RED node to control a Nuki smart lock. For more information regarding Nuki, have a look at https://nuki.io

The node uses the open source javascript library https://github.com/as19git67/nukible

Requirements

  • A nuki smart lock
  • a bluetooth device (like a USB bluetooth dongle on a Raspberry Pi)
  • A node-red installation

Installation

Have a look at https://nodered.org/docs/getting-started/adding-nodes how to install a node:

Installation of node-red-contrib-nukible

Run the following command in the root directory of your Node-RED install or use the "Manage palette"

npm install node-red-contrib-nukible

Pair with Nuki lock

  • Change to the nukible directory (e.g. $HOME/.node-red/node_modules/node-red-contrib-nukible/node_modules/nukible/)

  • cp ../../scripts/pair_nuki.js .

  • Switch on the Nuki pairing mode (read Nuki instructions)

  • node pair_nuki.js

  • Use the given pairing information

Usage

  • Use the node-red-contrib-nukible nodes
  • Add the credentials where were printed while paring to the nuki-credentials
  • Deploy it and use it!
