Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

ovh-domain

Command line tool to view and edit OVH Domain zone through api.

Installation

npm install -g node-ovh-domain

Configuration

  • Create an application.

  • Configure ovh-domain

    ovh-domain configure <app_key> <app_secret>

You have to validate the generated consumer key with the returned URL. Be careful with the validity duration !

You can specify the endpoint on configure command

ovh-domain configure <app_key> <app_secret> ovh-ca

You can get the full list of commands

ovh-domain list

Some examples :

  • get zones list : ovh-domain zones
  • view a zone : ovh-domain show toto.com
  • create a record: ovh-domain create toto.com r1 CNAME www.google.com.
  • delete a record: ovh-domain delete toto.com r1
  • update a record: ovh-domain create toto.com r1 www.yahoo.com.
