Basic Usage

const CreditCard = require('node-creditcard');

// Passing data to constructor.
const creditcard = new CreditCard({
    number    : '4532862404969398',
    holder    : 'FULANO D TAL',
    expiration: '04/2019',
    cvv       : '123',
});
// Passing data to constructor.

// Passing data individually.
const creditcard      = new CreditCard();
creditcard.number     = '4532 8624 0496 9398';
creditcard.holder     = 'FULANO D TAL';
creditcard.expiration = '04/2019';
creditcard.cvv        = '123';
// Passing data individually.

creditcard.isValid(); // returns TRUE

const validation = creditcard.validate();

The validation object returned by validate() will looks like this:

Get Data

Mask or Unmask Number

CreditCard.isMasked('4716 0589 4060 5004'); // returns TRUE
CreditCard.unMask('4716 0589 4060 5004');   // returns '4716058940605004'

Generate

CreditCard.generate('VISA');          // returns a VISA UNMASKED number
CreditCard.generate('VISA', true);    // returns a VISA MASKED number
CreditCard.generate('VISA', true, 3); // returns a 3 VISA MASKED numbers

Test and development

• Install external dependencies: npm install
• Run the test suite without coverage: npm test
• Run the test suite with coverage: npm run testdox
