n8n-nodes-seafile
This repository is the basis for the creation of the Seafile n8n community node available at https://www.npmjs.com/package/n8n-nodes-seafile. This community node always contains the latest updates and fixes. It is planned to merge this node also to the main product n8n, but until now this is not available.
About this node
This Seafile node allows you to automate work in Seafile, and integrate Seafile with other applications. n8n has built-in support for a wide range of Seafile features, including uploading and downloadling files, creating upload and download links and tag files in a Seafile library.
How to use Seafile in n8n
Currently, n8n is not shipped with this Seafile node. Therefore an installation of the community module is required.
Credentials / Authentication
To authenticate this Seafile node for n8n against a Seafile Server, you will have to provide two information:
- Seafile Server URL: The URL of the Seafile server. This should be the base URL of the Seafile instance you want to connect to.
- Account Token: The Account Token is required to authenticate every requests and allows interacting with the Seafile API. The account token has to be generated with your login credentials upfront. Read more at https://seafile-api.readme.io/reference/post_api2-auth-token.
The Library/Repo API Token is not supported because it supports only a limited amount of endpoints.
Installation of a this community node
- Open your n8n server.
- Go to Settings > Community Nodes.
- Select Install.

n8n-nodes-seafile
