Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

Svelte component library in the making

Welcome to MySvelteUI, a Svelte component library designed to streamline the development process. Our library provides a collection of reusable components that are easy to use and integrate into your Svelte projects. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced developer, MySvelteUI offers simplicity and efficiency to enhance your workflow.

Please note that this project is still in development, so expect regular updates and improvements. Documentation is also a work in progress and will be added soon.

Getting Started

For Users

To use MySvelteUI in your project, follow these steps:

  1. Install the mysvelte-ui package from npm:
npm install mysvelte-ui
  1. Import the desired components into your Svelte project's script tag:
import { Button } from 'mysvelte-ui';
  1. Use the imported components in your Svelte template:
<Button>Content</Button>

That's it! You can now use MySvelteUI components in your project. Enjoy!

For Developers

If you're a developer and want to contribute to MySvelteUI or fork the repository, follow these steps:

  1. Clone the repository to your local machine:
git clone https://github.com/Ddupasquier/mysvelte_ui.git
  1. Navigate to the project directory:
cd mysvelte_ui
  1. Install the project dependencies:
npm install
  1. Start the development server:
npm run dev
  1. (Optional) To add a new component, you can use the following command:
npm run newcomp componentname

Replace componentname with the desired name of your new component. This command will scaffold a new component template for you. Please note that the componentname should be in singular form.

The newcomp script fully incorporates the component into MySvelteUI, including adding it to the navigation and making it accessible for import and use in other parts of the library.

That's it! You're now ready to develop and contribute to MySvelteUI. Happy coding!

Documentation

Detailed documentation for MySvelteUI components will be added soon. Stay tuned!
