Debugging and Running on Command Line
You can run the mysql server in a command line and then access it in a visual database design tool such as DataGrip or MysqlWorkbench. This is useful for debugging if you want to be able to query and modify the database directly.
After you have installed the server using npm install
, you can run the server by calling this command in your terminal:
mysql-server-5.7-win-x64
Now you can connect to your server using the localhost defaults on port 3306.
