Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

mynpm-pub

mynpm-pub is a library that installs all dependent packages required by the project on the verdaccio private NPM server.

Install verdaccio

npm i -g verdaccio

verdaccio configuration

What is Verdaccio? / verdaccio configuration

Required verdaccio configuration

# package storage(absolute path)
storage: /path/to/storage
...

# publish the registry url
uplinks:
  npmjs:
    # public server url
    url: https://registry.npmjs.org
  # **************************************************
  # **************************************************
  # You must have mynpmpub.url attributes.
  # **************************************************

  mynpmpub:

You Must make up dependency tree with npm i command.

cd path/to/projectPath

npm i

Use with node.js

Install package:

npm i mynpm-pub

Example:

new MyNPMPub({config: 'path/to/config.yaml', force: false, packages: ['test', 'test1']}).publish();

Use with CLI

Install package on global location:

npm i -g mynpm-pub

Default command:

mynpm-pub --config /path/to/config.yaml

CLI Arguments

usage: mynpm-pub [-h] [-v] [-c CONFIG] [--packages PACKAGES [PACKAGES ...]]
                 [-f FORCE]

Optional arguments:
  -h, --help            Show this help message and exit.
  -v, --version         Show program's version number and exit.
  -c CONFIG, --config CONFIG
                        verdaccio configuration file path
  --packages PACKAGES [PACKAGES ...]
                        installation each packages.
  -f FORCE, --force FORCE
                        Force the installation of the package.
