Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Music Player for Reddit API

Node.js wrapper around the API for the Music Player for Reddit.

An authentication token is required which you can get after logging in and clicking generate token.

Installation

npm install musicplayer

Usage

var MusicPlayerAPI = require('musicplayer')("YOUR_TOKEN");

MusicPlayerAPI.user.get(function(result) {
  if (result.status == false) return console.error(result.message);

  var user = result.data;
  console.log("I am logged in as " + user.name);

Play

  • get : Get the state of the player, true for playing
MusicPlayerAPI.play.get(function(result) {

  • post : Toggles the state of the player

Forward

  • post : Skips to the next playable song

  • post : Rewinds back to the previous playable song
