Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Mourn.js is a jQuery library which is built in order to change any web site to gray color mode and also has an option to place the black ribbon in a page.

Quick start

  1. Download the latest version
  2. Clone the repo: git clone https://github.com/kanmanus/mourn.js.git
  3. Install with npm: npm install mourn.js

Installation

Step 1: Link required files

First, add a link to the css file in your <head>:

Then, before your closing <body> tag add:

Step 2: Call the Mourn.js

With a simple call below, your web site will become to gray color mode and has a mourning ribbon on the page.
