Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Developer Install

Install Prerequisites

as you wish ;)

Install Methuss and its Dependencies
$ git clone [email protected]:iolo/methuss.git
$ cd methuss
$ npm install
Launch Methuss

run with npm:

$ npm start

or run with your favorite process manager such as nodemon or pm2 or forever or else:

$ nodemon index.js
Debug

To see verbose debug log:

$ export DEBUG='*'

before run.

Production Install(Not Yet Recommended)

Install Methuss with Its Dependencies
$ npm install -g methuss
Launch Methuss
$ methuss-server

Usage

get meta tags as json/html/xml and image with Accept header:

$ curl 'localhost:3000/metas?url=http://ppss.kr' -H 'Accept:application/json'

or format in url:

$ curl 'localhost:3000/metas.json?url=http://ppss.kr'
$ curl 'localhost:3000/metas.html?url=http://ppss.kr'
$ curl 'localhost:3000/metas.xml?url=http://ppss.kr'
