Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

  Description
    A helpful digital gardening assistant for managing digital gardens in Hugo.

  Usage
    $ mcgregor <command> [options]

  Available Commands
    tend    Mark who last tended a post.

  For more info, run any command with the `--help` flag
    $ mcgregor plant --help
    $ mcgregor tend --help

  Options
    -v, --version    Displays current version
    -h, --help       Displays this message

tend

Mark who last tended a post.

Applies the lastTended hash to the frontmatter of a post which includes the current date and who made the modification according to the git config of the changing user.

The resulting frontmatter will look like:

    by: Luke Skywalker
    when: 2021-08-31
---

Files should be passed to the tend script after all options have been passed:

$ mcgregor tend example.md packages/core/CHANGELOG.md
