mark-loader
Inspect module load time using performance.mark
and performance.measure
.
This dev time loader is useful for calling out candidates for lazy loading.
Installation
npm i -D mark-loader
Usage
Add mark-loader
to your webpack.config.js
//webpack.config.js
{
module.exports = {
//...
module: {
rules: [
{test: /\.js$/, use: 'mark-loader'}
]
}
}
Open the Chrome Developer Tools to the Timeline tab and refresh the page. Load
information will show as a flame chart under User Timing
.
Use only in development
There is overhead in performance.mark
and performance.measure
, so this
loader is not recommended in production builds.
