Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

LoginRadius JS SDK

This package is a re-write of https://github.com/LoginRadius/javascript-sdk. It is re-written in Typescript.

The purpose of this is to have a tested version, but also a version that allows installing the dependency and modular imports of methods by passing the auth instance to each definition.

Initialization

import {initializeAuth} from 'loginradius-js-sdk';

const auth = initializeAuth({
  appName: 'your-app-name', // required
  apiKey: 'xxx-xxx-xxx', // required
  customDomain: 'hub.loginradius.com', // Optional
  apiDomain: 'https://api.loginradius.com', // Optional
  debugMode: false, // Optional
});

This is the auth instance that you can pass to all the methods below.

Usage

openLoginPage()

import {openLoginPage} from 'loginradius-js-sdk';

openLoginPage(auth, {
  redirect_uri: window.location.href, // Optional
});

appCallback()

This method fetches the token from query string and store it in browser storage

import {appCallback} from 'loginradius-js-sdk';
appCallback(auth);

isLoggedIn()

This method checks whether the user is logged in or not, and returns a boolean value

import {isLoggedIn} from 'loginradius-js-sdk';
isLoggedIn(auth); // true / false

logout()

This method triggers logout action

import {logout} from 'loginradius-js-sdk';

logout(auth, {
  redirect_uri: window.location.href, // Optional
});

Here redirect_uri is the return url, where the user will be redirected after successful logout.

openRegisterPage()

This method triggers registration action and redirects to the LoginRadius IDX registration section.

import {openRegisterPage} from 'loginradius-js-sdk';

openRegisterPage(auth, {
  redirect_uri: window.location.href, // Optional
});

Here redirect_uri is the return url, where the user will be redirected after a successful registration.

profileUpdate()

This method redirects to LoginRadius IDX profile.aspx page.

import {profileUpdate} from 'loginradius-js-sdk';

profileUpdate(auth);

forgotPassword()

This method triggers forgot password action and redirects to LoginRadius IDX forgot password section

import {forgotPassword} from 'loginradius-js-sdk';

forgotPassword(auth, {
  redirect_uri: window.location.href, // Optional
});

Here redirect_uri is the return url, where the user will be redirected after forgot password action.

getToken()

This method gets access token from the browser's local storage

import {getToken} from 'loginradius-js-sdk';
const token = getToken(auth);

getUserProfile()

This method fetches the profile based on the access token.

import {getUserProfile} from 'loginradius-js-sdk';
const profile = await getUserProfile(auth);
