Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

link-sync

Syncs your test package in parent directory or relative to it into your current project without creating symlinks and node_module conflicts like npm link.

npx link-sync@latest -p test-package-in-parent-dir-or-relative-parent-dir -w

Comandline params

-p --path : package path relative to the parent directory

-w --watch : watch mode

-v, --version : link-sync version

link-sync vs npm link

Testing npm packages before publishing to npm using npm link node_modules directory must be deleted in your test package to avoid dependencies conflicts. Also it creates symlinks, and it can mess your time with npm unlink. You can do it all manualy, or use this util.
