Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Convert Lifecraft exports to markdown files

Features

  • Convert .lifecraftex exports to dated markdown files

Usage

npm install -g lifecraft-md

Convert a .lifecraftex export to markdown:

lifecraft-md my-export.lifecraftex

Advanced usage

Convert Lifecraft exports to markdown files

USAGE
  $ lifecraft-md [EXPORT]

ARGUMENTS
  EXPORT  Lifecraft export file in .lifecraftex format

OPTIONS
  -e, --[no-]embed     Embed attachments as images in markdown
  -f, --flatten        Flatten the metadata
  -h, --help           Show usage
  -m, --metadata       Prepend entry metadata as YAML before markdown
  -o, --outdir=outdir  [default: out/] Output directory of conversion result
  -v, --version        show CLI version

Disclaimer

lifecraft-md is by no means feature-complete to convert every bit from Lifecraft but is rather a good headstart over copy and pasting every exported entry into markdown files manually.
