Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

LGTV WebOS API Wrapper

This is a really simple API Wrapper for LGTV WebOS.

Installation

npm install lgtv-webos-api

Import

Typescript :

import LgTv from 'lgtv-webos-api';

Javascript :

Usage

// MAC ADDRESS is needed only for turn on TV by wake on lan
const tv = new LgTv('LG_TV_IP_ADDRESS', 'LG_TV_MAC_ADDRESS');

tv.turnOn(); // This turns the TV ON

Turns TV on

turnOff()

Turns TV off

openWebBrowserAt(url: string)

Opens the web browser at specified url

sendNotification(message: string)

Display a toast notification on the TV

setMute(muted: boolean)

Turn soud on/off

getAudioStatus()

Return audio status (like volume, muted...)

getVolume()

Return volume

setVolume(volume: number)

Set the volume (between 0 and 100)

Increase volume by 1
