Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

most nicus have advanced machines for testing body functions, such as the electrocardiograph (ecg). an ecg measures and records the electrical activity of the heart. the ecg machine has a screen that shows the heart’s electrical activity. it is normally used to detect certain heart problems in babies. the ecg machine will also be used to detect certain problems in the lungs. the chest ecg is a type of ecg that is most commonly used in the nicu and in the hospital. the chest ecg, also called a lead ecg, is an electrical record of the electrical activity of the heart. the lead ecg is generated by the connection of a small number of electrodes to the chest. the electrodes are placed to record electrical activity in the heart. sometimes, a neonatologist uses a test such as an echocardiogram to look at the heart. a baby whose lungs are tested by an ecg is called a "high risk" baby.

in an older baby, the ecg can also be used to check what is called a "conduction study" of the heart. this study is made to look at how the heart wires communicate with the rest of the heart. a baby whose lungs are tested by an ecg is called a "low risk" baby.

the doctor will typically check for prematurity, the smallness of the baby and whether the baby is taking vital signs, sucking or swallowing. if the baby looks very sick, the doctors may also check the lungs by blowing air into the baby’s lungs and seeing if the baby can breath in and out. premature babies are those whose lungs and other organs are not ready for birth. the doctor will evaluate the baby to find out the status of the baby’s lungs. the doctor will make a call to the nicu as to how soon the baby needs to be delivered. some babies will need oxygen on a permanent basis, and others will be able to breathe on their own. 84d34552a1
