Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Lenis Svelte

npm

Lenis Svelte provides an action that instantiate Lenis for you in a Svelte app. This facilitate the use of Lenis in Svelte App without worry about how use it cross the component tree.

Installation

If you're seeing this, you've probably already done this step. Congrats!

npm i lenis-svelte

# yarn 
yarn add lenis-svelte

# pnpm
pnpm i lenis-svelte

Usage

Using for global scrolling

If the action is just add iot

    const root = lenis.instance('root');
    //        or lenis.root();

    onMount(() => {
        $root?.on('scroll', () => console.log(`[Lenis root] scrolling...`))
    });

<main use:lenis>

Using it for section scroll

You can also use the lenis.instance(<id>) in sub components to get the instance that you want to manage.

  • id: This is used to identify the lenis instance. You can getting back using lenis.instance(<id>)

    • type: string
    • default: "root"
  • autoRaf: If you want to run lenis.raf() by yourself, set it to false

  • options: You can send any Lenis config here. LenisOptions

    • default: none just the lib defaults

  • .instance: Method use for get the intance by id
    • type: instance(id: string): Readable<Lenis>
    • default: none
  • .root: Is just an alias for lenis.instance('root') which get global lenis instance.
