Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Basic calendar API powered by moment.js for custom calendar UI made for JS Community. Feel free to contribute and innovate


Installation

$ npm install ks-calendar --save

Basic Usage

let calendar = require('ks-calendar')

let currentMonth = calendar.load(new Date())

Documentation

Calendar Output

boolean - returns false if date is invalid.

array - returns array of weeks if date is valid.

Array of weeks sorted from first week of the month to the last. The length will depend on the number of weeks in the month


Week Object

week number - Week of the year.

days array - Array of moment object of the week starting from Sunday to Saturday.|


Additional Methods

Basic logical methods that can be used inside the module


nextMonth()

Loads next month


previousMonth()

Loads previous month


nextYear()

Loads next year starting from January


previousYear()

Loads previous year starting from January


jumpToMonth(month)

Jumps to target month. month <1-12>.

Example

.jumpToMonth(4) (loads April )


jumpToYear(year, <month>)

Jumps to target year but you can pass additional parameter for target month. year <YYYY / YY> month <1-12>.

Example

.jumpToYear(2006) loads January 2006

.jumpToYear(2006, 5) loads May 2006 calendar
