Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

YAML Key Differ - Obtain the difference in keys between two YAML files. Great for YAML I18n language files.

Usage

Install

npm install -g koimo

Diff two YAML files (sans-color)

$ koimo examples/test1.yaml examples/test2.yaml

  ===================
   Koimo - YAML Diff
  ===================

  [ test1.yaml ] vs. [ test2.yaml ]

  Missing keys:

  - level1_1.level2_3.level3_1
  - level1_1.level2_3.level3_2
  - level1_2.level2_1.level3_2

  Additional keys:

  - level1_2.level2_2.level3_1

or more YAML files with more chopping

$ koimo --level=2 examples/*.yaml

  ===================
   Koimo - YAML Diff
  ===================

  [ test1.yaml ] vs. [ test2.yaml, test3.yaml ]
