Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

cryptococcus neoformans and cryptococcus gattii are the causative agents for cryptococcosis and are divided into two sibling species. cryptococcus neoformans and cryptococcus gattii exhibit similar antifungal susceptibilities, but significant differences in their geographical distribution. cryptococcus neoformans is the species more commonly isolated in immunocompetent patients, whereas cryptococcus gattii has been found more frequently in aids patients and in other immunocompromised patients. infection is usually acquired by inhalation of fungal cells from the environment, but other routes of infection have been documented, including infection of the brain via the meninges. infection spreads hematogenously to the lungs and brain, where it results in progressive involvement of both lungs and meninges. culture of csf shows organism in five or more polymorphonuclear leukocytes/mm3.

basal cell adenocarcinoma of the skin is a cutaneous neoplasm that commonly originates from the basal cells in the epidermis and is characterized by slow-growing, nodular, rapidly expanding tumor masses that seldom metastasize.

in september 2012, a data breach was announced for the association for software testing (ast) of south africa (sa), a not-for-profit professional organization devoted to advancing and promoting the fields of software testing and software quality assurance. the breach exposed 787k usernames and passwords, including usernames of board members and executives. no other information was disclosed.

in december 2016, a data breach was announced of the police department of the district of columbia's (dc) online systems. an administrative login was compromised, and the exposed data included records of over two million innocent people. this information did not affect any investigations or prosecutions, and included names, dates of birth, social security numbers, driver’s license numbers, and email addresses, which were not encrypted. since the end of the investigation there was no publicly available proof that any of the data was misused, and the dc police department has consistently stated that the data was not put into the public domain. the dc police department has not responded to requests for more information. an 8chan post in december 2016 also included a screenshot of a list of over 300 email addresses of the affected users, with each address providing an email address of a different user. the database is encrypted and stored on a server within the dc police department’s own secure zone. the database does not store encryption keys on the server. the encryption software is provided by openssl. it is impossible for anyone who has the password to access the database. 84d34552a1
