Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Keyboardz

Push and release windows keys using Edge.js and C#.

This is an Edge.js module.

Usage

var keyboardz = require('keyboardz');

keyboardz.holdKey("W");
keyboardz.releaseKey("W");

No effort is made by this module to do syncronization or timing. Thats up to your node.js usage of it. It just sends raw global keyboard events.

If you forget to clear your keys a physical keyboard press is needed to reset them.

TODO

  • [ ] Better handling of keys. Right now you have to know what they are called, "W" rather than "w" etc.
  • [ ] Fix the arrow keys, something is up with them. No idea what.
