Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

Jest-Vue-Report

A Jest test framework combined with Vuejs to render the test report, and a good combination with the nightmare

Downloads Downloads

Getting Started

Install it via npm:

npm install jest-vue-report

And include in your jest project: (If not Jest Project, you can follow this doc to build it as fast as your can)

The reporter integrates with Jest in form of a testResultsProcessor. Put this into your projects package.json:

"jest": {
  "testResultsProcessor": "jest-vue-report"
}

Then can also config custom report site, e.g. put this in your package.json, (default site -> <root>/test/jestReport )

"jest-vue-report": {
  "report-site": "test/vueReport"
}

With customer config, the test report will auto genente to <root>/test/vueReport

Then, just use Jest as usual, e.g. put this in your package.json

"scripts": {
  "test": "jest"
}

Then, simply run npm test

Important note:

Built files are meant to be served over an HTTP server.

Then, you should go to the reporter folder and use http-server to build an HTTP server conveniently.

ONE MORE IMPORTANT

There is a good combination of the nightmare screenshots with jest-vue-report

Example

jest test file

import Nightmare from 'nightmare'
import { getScreenshotUrl } from 'jest-vue-report'

jest.setTimeout(15000)

describe('Login', () => {
  let page = null
  var path = require('path')
  beforeEach(() => {
    page = Nightmare({show: true}).viewport(1024, 768)
    page.goto('http://www.xingyun361.com')
  })
  it('should login with failure', async () => {
    await page
      .click('.btn.login_btn1.l')
      .wait('#username_0')
      .click('#login_bt')
      .wait('#area_error_msg')
    await  page.screenshot(getScreenshotUrl('should login with failure'))
    const content = await page.wait('#area_error_msg')
      .evaluate(() => document.querySelector('#area_error_msg').innerHTML).end()
    await page.end()
    console.log('content:>>' + content)
    expect(content).toBe('请输入用户名')
  })
})

Note: unitName in getScreenshotUrl(unitName) should be unique name.
