Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Convert time to UTC and print

Usage

var iso8601 = require('iso8601.js')
iso8601.iso(new Date()) // get date at local time in ISO8601 format

All methods take an optional boolean second argument which uses UTC time instead of local time

iso8601.iso(new Date(), true) // get date at UTC in ISO8601 format

Get Date in ISO 8601 format

console.log(iso8601.iso(new Date()))

Get hours:minutes

console.log(iso8601.hhmm(new Date()))

Get month and date as MM-DD

console.log(iso8601.mmdd(new Date()))

Get short ISO 8601 string
