Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

ioBroker homee Adapter

Number of Installations Number of Installations

This adapter uses Sentry libraries to automatically report exceptions and code errors to the developers. For more details and for information how to disable the error reporting see Sentry-Plugin Documentation! Sentry reporting is used starting with js-controller 3.0.

Description

This adapter connects ioBroker to homee and provides the following features:

  • allows connection via IP or homee-ID and username/password
  • read all devices(nodes) and states (attributes) and show their values including updates in ioBroker
  • allow changing values in ioBroker and send them back to homee to control devices
  • acts as a ioBroker History provider for all states devices where history is enabled in homee. This means you can use the history values stored in homee to display in ioBroker using flot, Admin or also JavaScript including all aggregations on data level as known from e.g. History adapter

not (yet) supported:

  • groups, because they don't offer any functions like a group-level-state or real writing to all devices at once in homee
  • heating-plans

This adapter is based on the outstanding work of stfnhmplr and his homee-api.

Known issues

  • On js-controller <1.5.0 it can have strange effects when enabling other history providers on some of the roles (e.g. "switch")

How to report issues and feature requests

Please use GitHub issues for this.

Best is to set the adapter to Debug log mode (Instances -> Expert mode -> Column Log level). Then please get the logfile from disk (subdirectory "log" in ioBroker installation directory and not from Admin because Admin cuts the lines). If you do not like providing it in GitHub issue you can also send it to me via email ([email protected]). Please add a reference to the relevant GitHub issue AND also describe what I see in the log at which time.
