insta-getty
Save any Instagram pictures or videos to the current working directory.
Install
$ npm install -g insta-getty
It doesn't have any dependencies!
CLI usage
$ insta-getty --help
Usage: insta-getty [options] <input>
Save any Instagram pictures or videos to the current working directory.
Options:
-h, --help Show this screen.
-V, --version Show version.
-p, --profile <username> Save the profile picture of the specified user.
-f, --file <file> Read URLs or media shortcodes from a text file.
Examples
Download one or more pictures/videos:
$ insta-getty https://www.instagram.com/p/BTRikD2AqIl/
$ insta-getty BTRikD2AqIl BTEdi5mgeMg BOs50vsj58P
Read URLs and/or shortcodes from a text file:
$ insta-getty --file links.txt
Where links.txt
is a newline delimited text file that looks something like this:
https://www.instagram.com/p/BTRikD2AqIl/
BPx0EX6DA7J
BT4JNe0A0m8
Download one or more user profile pictures:
$ insta-getty --profile kfc mcdonalds burgerking ...
Programmatic usage
