Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Insomnia Plugin for Ethos Access Token

An insomnia plugin to generate the access token for Ellucian Ethos before every call on Insomnia.

Installation

One-Click installation

Go to http://insomnia.rest/plugins/insomnia-plugin-ethos-access-token
Click the "Install plugin" button.
Click "Open Insomnia" and "Install"

Install from plugins tab

Open Insomnia
Go to Application > Preferences > Plugins
Enter insomnia-plugin-ethos-access-token
Click "Install Plugin"

Manual installation

Open Insomnia plugins folder on a terminal window
git clone https://github.com/rromanv/insomnia-plugin-ethos-access-token
cd insomnia-plugin-get-access-token
npm install

Usage

Create a new Request
On Authentication tab, Bearer, select "Ethos Access Token"
Open and fill with your app secret
Done, make a call to Ethos and it will authenticate first every time
