Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Configuration Options

Default Org/User

If you set the HUBOT_GITHUB_USER environmental variable, hubot will assume any repos that are not namespaced are in your user or org account.

export HUBOT_GITHUB_USER=markhuge

Hubot> hubot compare hubot-github-compare develop to master
Hubot> https://github.com/markhuge/hubot-github-compare/compare/develop...master

Github Enterprise

For Github Enterprise users, you can set the HUBOT_GITHUB_API environmental variable to your Github Enterprise installation.

Ex: export HUBOT_GITHUB_API=https://github.myshiz.biz

Hubot> hubot compare user/repo develop to 1.0.1
Hubot> https://github.myshiz.biz/user/repo/compare/develop...1.0.1
