Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Trivia Quiz App

A simple command-line trivia quiz app built with Node.js. This app contains 10 questions from various categories and provides a fun way to test your knowledge.

Getting Started To run the Trivia Quiz App, follow these steps:

  • Make sure you have Node.js installed on your computer.

  • Navigate to the project directory in your terminal or command prompt.

  • Run npm install to install the required dependencies.

Usage

To run this quiz follow the command:

  • npx ht-trivia-quiz

Features

  • 10 questions from various categories.
  • Multiple-choice answers for each question.
  • Immediate feedback on each answer.
  • Final score displayed at the end of the quiz.
  • Option to play again.

How to Play

When you start the Trivia Quiz App, you will see the welcome screen:

  • Press any key to start the quiz. For each question, you will see the question and a list of possible answers:

Question Example

  • Select the answer you think is correct by entering the corresponding number. After you select an answer, the app will provide feedback and move on to the next question.

  • At the end of the quiz, you will see your final score:

  • Final Score Example .l; If you missed any questions, the app will display the correct answers:

You can play the quiz again by answering 'yes' when prompted.
