Homebridge Flamingo
Support for Flamingo SF-501 and SF-501R 433,92 MHz RF Outlets. Tested on a Raspberry Pi 4.
homebridge-434mhz-flamingo
is a simple plugin for Homebridge providing support for Flamingo SF-501 433,92 MHz RF Outlets. Note though, these outlets do not send any confirmation signal back, hence the on/off state in homebridge may be incorrect. A 433,92 MHz transmitter is required and must be connected to GPIO 17.
homebridge-434mhz-flamingo
is intended to be configured using Homebridge Config GUI of homebridge-config-ui-x
and allows multiple independent RF outlets to be added.
Installation Note
pigpio
and its daemon pigpiod
will be installed if not already present since they are needed to send 433,92 MHz signals to your RF outlets. The setup script of this plugin will create a systemctl service for pigpio in order for pigpiod
to run at boot."
Pairing
By default, F-501 and SF-501R units are paired to a 433,92 MHz remote. homebridge-434mhz-flamingo
ignores these pairings. In the Config UI, add a FlamingoOutlet, assign it a name you'd like and an arbitrary persistent code. To pair the RF outlet, plug it in, and turn the corresponding switch Homebridge generates on. To unpair, unplug the unit first, then plug it back in and turn the switch in Homebridge off. The LED on the outlet will flash accordingly.
