hem-jade

Use Jade in your Spine application!

This package lets you use Jade with hem server, usually in a Spine application.

Installation

Add this to your package.json:

{
  "dependencies": {
    // ...
    "jade": "*"
    "hem-jade": "*"
  }
}

Run npm install .

Add this to your slug.json:

"dependencies": [
  // ...
  "jade/lib/runtime"
]

Using it

Create slug.js with the following contents:

var argv = process.argv.slice(2);
require('hem-jade');
require('hem').exec(argv[0]);

Run hem server!

How does it work

slug.js loads hem-haml-coffee and passes it the argument.

hem-haml-coffee loads hem, sets it up to understand .haml files, and returns it.
