Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

A gulp plugin for versioning the CSS property: url. Based on: css-url-versioner

Getting Started

Install:

npm install --save-dev gulp-css-url-versioner

How to use:

var gulp = require('gulp'),
    cssVersioner = require('gulp-css-url-versioner');

gulp.task('styles', function () {
    return gulp.src('src/css/withoutVersion.css')
    .pipe(cssVersioner())
    .pipe(gulp.dest('dist/css/withVersion.css'));
});

With Stylus and Git

Default: v

You can customize the variable name in '?myVariable=yyyymmdd'

By default the version is the current date. You can also customize it:

lastcommit:

Default: false

Set to true if you want to use the short version of your last commit as your version.

Default: false

Set to true, if you want to print the relative path for each processed file
