Split specified files into multiple parts.
Getting Started
This plugin requires Grunt ~0.4.5
If you haven't used Grunt before, be sure to check out the Getting Started guide, as it explains how to create a Gruntfile as well as install and use Grunt plugins. Once you're familiar with that process, you may install this plugin with this command:
npm install grunt-split-file --save-dev
Once the plugin has been installed, it may be enabled inside your Gruntfile with this line of JavaScript:
grunt.loadNpmTasks('grunt-split-file');
The "splitfile" task
Overview
In your project's Gruntfile, add a section named splitfile
to the data object passed into grunt.initConfig()
.

Options
options.separator
Type: String
or RegExp
Default value: no default
Separator string or regular expression to split into multiple parts from contents of src files.
options.prefix
Type: String
or Array of String
Default value: no default value
Used as the prefix of destination file name.
options.suffix
Type: String
Default value: no defalt value
Used as the suffix of destination filename.
If not present, the suffix of source file name is used instead.

Contributing
