Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Hey there, Stevie here.

I made some changes to the Growl Hook to accommodate a default 3 second timeout for dismissal or the user/developer can allocate a timeout themselves in the input field. I added in custom growl message. I removed a bit of the create-react-app boiler plate. I added typescript to the project. I added styled-components. I consolidated the Growl.tsx with the styling and svg close icon. I added in some Typescript interfaces. I changed the 'Click here to activate the growl' a tag to a button.

I added in way too many comments to Growl.tsx but thought it better to have more then not enough.
