Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Source for npm package groovejs-cli.

The cli provides a lot of useful functionality, such as scaffolding options to create new packages, add/remove packages and list currently installed packages.

The repository contains

  • The bin file used for cli operations.
  • Core functionality for managing GrooveJS packages.

Basic Usage

Install Package:

$ [sudo] npm install -g groovejs-cli

Note: You may need to use sudo only for OSX, *nix, BSD etc and run your command shell as Administrator (for Windows)

Explore CLI functionality:

$ groovejs --help

Install Dependencies:

$ cd <NameOfYourApp> && npm install

Create a sample GrooveJs package:

$ groovejs package <NameOfYourPackage>

Run your app:

$ gulp
