A library for fetching the current trending repositories on GitHub.
API
$ npm install --save github-trending
Trending repositories (all languages)
var trending = require('github-trending');
trending(function (err, repositories) {
console.log(repositories);
});
Trending repositories (particular language)
var trending = require('github-trending');
trending('rust', function (err, repositories) {
console.log(repositories);
});
Available languages
There is also a function which provides an array with all languages for which trending repository data is available:
var trending = require('github-trending');
trending.languages(function (err, languages) {
console.log(languages); // => ['ABAP', 'ActionScript', 'Ada', ...]
});
