Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Get Next App

Description

Get Next App is a command-line tool designed to streamline the process of setting up a new Next.js application. It offers optional templates, such as translation support, to enhance your development experience.

Installation

Before using Get Next App, ensure you have Node.js and npm installed on your machine. Then, follow these steps:

  1. Open your terminal.
  2. Run the following command to install Get Next App globally:
npm install -g get-next-app

Usage

Syntax

Use the following syntax to create a new Next.js project with Get Next App:

npx get-next-app <project-name> --<template1> --<template2> ...

Replace with your desired project name. You can include one or more optional templates by specifying them after the project name.

Examples

  • Create a new Next.js project named "my-project":
npx get-next-app my-project
  • Create a new Next.js project with translation support:
npx get-next-app my-project --translation
