Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Installation

First, install Yeoman and generator-ozone-ui using npm (we assume you have pre-installed node.js).

npm install -g yo
npm install -g generator-ozone-ui

Then generate your new project:

Create a directory Ex: foo and get inside that foo/ directory

Run:

yo ozone-ui

Getting To Know Yeoman

  • Yeoman has a heart of gold.
  • Yeoman is a person with feelings and opinions, but is very easy to work with.
  • Yeoman can be too opinionated at times but is easily convinced not to be.

After Installation

In the project directory, you can run:

npm start:dev

Runs the app in the development mode.

API_URL: http://localhost:4001 Open http://localhost:3000 to view it in the browser.

The page will reload if you make edits.

You will also see any lint errors in the console.

npm start:staging

Runs the app in the development mode.

API_URL: https://ozone-staging.herokuapp.com Open http://localhost:3000 to view it in the browser.

The page will reload if you make edits.

You will also see any lint errors in the console.

npm start:prod

Runs the app in the development mode.

API_URL: https://ozone-production.herokuapp.com Open http://localhost:3000 to view it in the browser.
