Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

generator-nodule

A node.js module generator for Yeoman.

Build Status

Installation

To install generator-nodule from npm, run:

$ npm install -g generator-nodule

Finally, initiate the generator:

$ yo nodule

This generator will install the following files:

  • package-json.
  • Gruntfile.js : configured to use the following grunt modules:
    • grunt-complexity - show code complexity
    • grunt-contrib-watch - watch for changes then run tests
    • grunt-mocha-cli - run mocha tests
    • grunt-bump - easily release versions
  • .travis.yml : for continous integration.
  • .gitignore : ignore the usual stuff.
  • LICENSE - MIT license initialized with your details.
  • README.md - Initialized with your details and travis-ci badges.
  • index.js - dummy javascript file
  • test/index.js - unit tests using mocha and chai
