Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Yeoman generator

About

Generator-babylon is a simple generator for projects using the BabylonJS framework for creating 3d games/apps in javascript.

Features

  • Manage dependencies with gulp-wiredep
  • BrowserSync for app testing and livereload
  • Combine and minify css and js files for distribution

Installation

To install generator-babylon from npm, run:

npm install -g generator-babylon

Finally, initiate the generator:

yo babylon

You can now work on your app in the app directory.

Available tasks

Launch local server and watch for changes:

gulp serve

Add new dependencies installed with Bower:

gulp wiredep

Compile app for distribution (combine and minify css and js) to the dist directory:

gulp dist

Additional notes

Use the app/assets directory to store additional files like textures and models. This directory is copied recursively to the dist directory when you publish your app.
