Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

A public repository that can be installed using NPM for NodeJS applications. Using just 1 simple function will call the API of gamerpower.com and output all data.

Installation

Install via NPM:

  npm i game-deals@latest

Usage/Examples

const gamedeals = require("game-deals");

gamedeals.getGameDeals(function (response) {
  console.log(response); // logs all response

  console.log(response[0].title) // logs title of first deal
});

Config

For further adjustment there is a config file that will be used to store the static URL's to the API.

giveawayURL - API call url

Use example below to get the title of the first deal.

.worth - What the price was

gamedals.thumbnail: - Thumbnail URL

.image - Image URL

.description - A description of the game

.instructions - Claim instructions

.open_giveaway_url - URL to claim the deal

.type - What type of deal
