Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

Usage

This is a command-line tool called fw-react-cli that allows you to create and add packages for your projects. It provides an interactive interface for selecting project type, entering project name, and package name.

Installation

Make sure you have Node.js installed on your system before using this tool.

  1. Install the tool globally:
npm install fw-react-cli -g

How to Use

To create a new project, use the following command:

fw-cli create

You will be prompted to select the project type (page or lib), enter the project name, and the package name. If any of the parameters are missing, the script will display an error message.

To add a new package to an existing project, use the following command:

fw-cli addPackage

Similar to creating a project, you will be prompted to select the package type (page or lib) and enter the package name. If the package name is missing, the script will display an error message.

Both commands will copy the necessary template files to the specified directories and create the required files for your project or package. Once the process is complete, a success message will be displayed.

Note: The script assumes that the templates are located in the template and temptale_page or temptale_lib directories. Ensure these directories exist in the same path as the fw-react-cli tool.

Example

Here's an example usage:

$ fw-cli create
? 请选择你的项目类型: (Use arrow keys)
❯ 页面类型
  lib资源类型
? 请输入项目名称: my-project
? 请输入package名称: my-package
正在创建,请稍后!
创建成功!

$ fw-cli addPackage
? 请选择你的项目类型: (Use arrow keys)
❯ 页面类型
  lib资源类型
? 请输入package名称: my-package-2
正在创建,请稍后!
创建成功!

In the above example, the user creates a new project named "my-project" with a package named "my-package". Then, the user adds another package named "my-package-2" to the existing project.
