Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

flummox-es6-spike

A small spike for my own delectation and delight.

Disclaimer

I've only developed it on OSX and run against latest chrome. Not even tried to make it vaguely pretty.

Installing and running

  • Install node. see https://nodejs.org/download/
  • Clone the repository git clone [email protected]:james-s-turner/flummox-es6-spike.git
  • Enter the directory cd flummox-es6-spike
  • Install node modules npm install
  • Start the server npm start You should see the following:
Listening on port 3000
MailApp Started
  • Open your browser, go to "http://localhost:3000"

Testing

  • npm test

TODO

  • Run tests in travis.
  • Production build, using the SystemJS build tool. Awaiting a fix to: https://github.com/systemjs/builder/issues/90
  • Add libsass to build. Relying on using SASS from webstorm at the moment
  • Add autoprefixer to build
