Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

npm_package_festival

This project uses the Panorama des Festivals API to display festivals from various cities, including the festival name, music type, and start date.

API Used

The application utilizes the Panorama des Festivals API to retrieve festival data. The API provides records containing festival details such as the city name, festival name, music type, and start date.

Installation

To install the application, you can run the following command:

npm install

Displaying Festivals by City

The application displays festivals for each city with the following information:

  • City: The name of the city where the festival takes place.
  • Festival: The name of the festival.
  • Music Type: The type of music associated with the festival.
  • Start Date: The start date of the festival.

You can run the application to display the festivals using the provided code in the index.js file. by running the following command:

node index.js
