FastBoot Bitbucket Downloader
This downloader for the FastBoot App Server works with Bitbucket Builds to download and unzip the latest build artifacts of your deployed application.
You need to activate Bitbucket Pipelines in your repository. Thereafter, create a bitbucket-pipelines.yml file in the root of the repo which can look something like this
pipelines:
default:
- step:
name: Ember Build
image: node:latest
caches:
- node
script:
- curl -o- -L https://yarnpkg.com/install.sh | bash
- export PATH=$HOME/.yarn/bin:$PATH
- yarn global add ember-cli
- yarn install --non-interactive
- ember build --environment=production
artifacts:
- dist/**
- step:
name: Zip and Upload
script:
- apt-get install zip
- zip -r dist.zip dist
- curl -X POST "https://username:[email protected]/2.0/repositories/my-org/my-app/downloads" --form files=@"dist.zip"
This pipeline will build your ember app on each commit and zip then upload the contents of the dist folder as dist.zip. It is now ready to be downloaded and served by a Fastboot App Server.
To use the downloader, configure it with your Bitbucket API token (App Password) and your repo:
const FastBootAppServer = require('fastboot-app-server');
const BitbucketDownloader = require('fastboot-bitbucket-downloader');
let downloader = new BitbucketDownloader({
url: 'https://api.bitbucket.com', // Bitbucket API host, defaults to https://api.bitbucket.com
username: 'don_omondi', // your Bitbucket username
password: '123456789Password', // your Bitbucket app password
repo: 'my-app/ember.js', // name of your repo
filename: 'dist.zip', // The download filename in your repo's downloads section
path: 'dist' // optional path of the `dist` directory, defaults to 'dist'
});
let server = new FastBootAppServer({
downloader: downloader
});
When the downloader runs, it will download the zipped artifacts for the most recent build for the specified repo and branch.
