Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Extension setup

(Extension available only for Chrome browser)

  1. Go to extensions panel in Chrome howFindExtensions
  2. Click load unpacked loadUnpacked
  3. Choose .../nhg-playground/externalinject-test/skyupWitchcraft folder and press Open in upper right corner selectWirchcraftFolder
  4. See that our extension appeared in extensions menu (ignore errors) extensionAppear

Extension usage

  1. Create build for project components you want to add to site by running command: pnpm run build runBild
  2. Go to any site (for example https://www.google.com) google
  3. Click on extension in upper right browser corner extensionInGoogle
  4. Click choose files chooseFiles
  5. Choose js and css files from build folder chooseJsAndCss
  6. See you build js added to site footer and styles changed in all site chromeWithBild
