Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

This is fast and lightweight module to export single or multiple html tables as it is to csv.

Installation

NPM

You can install export-html-table-to-csv as a dependency using NPM.

$ npm install export-html-table-to-csv --save

Yarn

You can install export-html-table-to-csv as a dependency using Yarn.

$ yarn add export-html-table-to-csv

Usage

import { downloadHtmlTableToCSV } from "export-html-table-to-csv";

try {
  const tableIds = ["tableId1"];
  const filename = "NewCsvFileName";
  const exportUntilRowId = "";
  downloadHtmlTableToCSV(tableIds, filename, exportUntilRowId);
} catch (err) {
  console.error(err);
}

Parameters

  • tableIds (string[]): Provide multiple ids if you want to export multiple html table at once else provide one id in array
  • filename (string): The desired filename for the exported CSV file.
  • exportUntilRowId: If you only want to export table until certain row then provide its id else leave it empty to download full table
